Alice was born in Riley Center, MI on September 25, 1917, the daughter of the late Stephen B. Waite and Jane M. (Manning) Waite. She was a member of Milwood United Methodist Church, where she was involved with the Mary Martha Circle and the Joy Club. She loved to spend time with her family and was a very generous & giving person.
She enjoyed baking & camping and loved dogs. She was married to Harold G. Oxley on June 18, 1938; he preceded her in death on March 26, 2005. Alice is survived by two children, Shirley (Lou) Thompson and Alan (Andrea) Oxley; three grandchildren, Trisha Thompson, Steven (Jessica) Thompson and Garrick (Larissa) Oxley; three great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Cory and Elsu; and one sister-in-law, Jackie Cizmadji. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Carl Waite, Hazel Thurston, Leona Belle Dullam and Beatrice Fox.
