  Alfred L. Small Alfred L. Small, 86, of Ridgefield, husband of Sonia (Kinsler) Small died on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Laurel Ridge, Ridgefield. Mr. Small was born in Brooklyn, NY, February 16, 1926, a son of the late Percy and Blanche (Cetner) Schwartzberg.  He attended NY schools, attained his Bachelor’s of Science degree and was a retired accountant for the former Benrus Corporation of Ridgefield. A resident of Ridgefield forty-one years coming from Baldwin, L.I., NY, Mr. Small was a member of the Ridgefield Mens Club and Founders Hall. He was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing the organ and accordion.  During World War II, Mr. Small was a musician with the U.S.O. entertaining U.S. Troops. In addition to his wife of sixty-three years, Mr. Small is survived by a son, Richard and his wife, Rose of Jersey City, NJ; a daughter, Sarajane Belkadi of New Rochelle, NY and two grandchildren, Jeremy Small and Hicham Balkadi.
