Alfred Greene Gardner, 92, of Sunny Slope, Arkansas went home to be with the lord Tuesday, June 7, 2016. He was born July 9, 1923 in Jasper, Alabama to the late Robert Andrew and Nancy Carolina Gardner.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Britten Gardner and Hughes Gardner; three sisters, Fannie Hatcher, Bertha Creecy, and Mattie Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife of sixty three years Bonnie Jean Gardner, and son-in-law, Tommy Edward Smith.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Smith; two grandsons, Drew Edward Smith and Jordan Gardner Smith, and numerous extended family members and friends.
