Gentile IIIAlfonso “Chipper” John Gentile III of Pottstown, PA (formerly Secane, PA), age 33, passed away unexpectedly in his home January 17, 2022.Chipper was a loving son of Margaret A. (DeJesse) and Alfonso J. Gentile Jr. loving grandson of Alfonso J Gentile Sr, loving brother of Mia (James) Dempsey, Julian J (Fiancé Taylor Crabtree) Gentile, Nicole (James) Gentile Arp, Olivia (Fiancé Michael Bielecki) Gentile Pivec. Chipper is survived by his 4 nieces and nephew Juliana, Anthony, Mya, Ryleigh, and Emily. Chipper is also survived by his special little buddy Wilson “Papa” as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chipper is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth DeJesse (Bernocco), maternal grandfather, Joseph DeJesse, paternal grandmother, Gloria Gentile (Venuto), his aunt, Elizabeth Donofrio (DeJesse) and his uncle, Michael DeJesse and beloved dog Muzzy. Chipper will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor and ability to light up a room. He was a graduate of the Perkiomen School and attended LaRoche College. He was a stellar 3 sport athlete. Chipper carried on the family legacy working in the family business, Penn City Auto Stores Inc. Chipper enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, simply watching a sports game and time on the golf course.
