On the evening of November 3, 2015, Alex suddenly passed away of natural causes at his home in Chandler, Arizona at the age of 44.
Alex from an early age was an outgoing young man with a gift of making people laugh that carried on through his adult life. Alex lived the first half of his life on Long Island, New York graduating from Hauppauge High School in 1989. Alex moved from New York in 1991 to Scottsdale, Arizona where he lived most of the second half of his life with the exception of a brief stint in Wisconsin from 1995 to 1998. Alex had several passions in life that included movies and movie trivia, biographies of successful businessmen and Presidents as well as following several sports teams. Alex loved the Mets, the Giants and Notre Dame college football.
Alex had worked in many different industries over the years, but the one he loved the most was working with wounded veterans through La Fontera Empact/Rally Point and The Wounded Warrior project. Alex gave his heart and soul into helping countless veterans and veteran’s family members. Alex rose from Crisis Navigator to Military Liaison and then to the corporate level position of Rally Point Arizona Administrator.
Alex was preceded in death by: his father John Richmond Taylor (Richie). Alex is survived by his wife Marita Taylor, his daughter Ariana DeVriend, mother Patricia Taylor Parker, step-father Albert Parker, his brother John Richmond Taylor, Jr, sister-in-law Susan Taylor, nieces Deanna Taylor, Danielle Taylor, Faith Taylor.
