DURHAM- Mr. Alexander (Alec) Isaac Rabney, 77, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020.
Mr. Rabney was born on December 17, 1942 to Samuel Rabney and Shelly Halpern in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Alexander honorably served his country in the United States Army prior to attending Drexel University and receiving an Engineering Degree. He spent most of his career in the construction industry; designing, planning, and developing many residential, commercial, and institutional developments.
Mr. Rabney was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Shelly Halpern, and his wife, Maxine Rabney. He is survived by his son, Steven Rabney (Kathy Huff); step-son, Donnie (Debi) Taliaferro; step-daughter, Tammy Galloway; grandchildren, Garrett (Kira) Galloway, Tiffany (Chris) Persons, Calvin Rabney, Jordan Taliaferro, and Devin Taliaferro; and great-grandchildren, Clarra Galloway, Mia Galloway, and Freya Galloway.
