Alex M. Dukai, 93, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 2:22 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2007, in Healthwin Specialized Care Facility. Alex was born on February 17, 1914 in South Bend, IN, to Joseph and Theresa (Horvath) Dukai. He retired in 1979 from Bankers Dispatch. He had also been employed with the former Studebaker Corporation. On August 30, 1941, he married Ann J. Cenkush, who preceded him in death on February 26, 2001. Also preceding him in death were five sisters and two brothers. Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia (Gary) Reese of Granger, IN; his son, James (Nancy) Dukai of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Corey (Kari) Dukai, Trebor Grontkowski, Angela Reese, and Rebecca Reese; and one great-granddaughter, Iris Laymon.
