Alease Elizabeth “Betty” Morris Faison, 84, of Waverly, VA passed away on January 21, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Julian Ianthis Morris and Mary Edith Elizabeth Vassar Goodman. She was predeceased by her husband Wilmer “Winky” Felton Faison and her beloved grandson, Christopher Faison.Betty was an endearing wife, mother, and grandmother. Her world revolved around her family. She married her first love and they spent over 54 years together creating their happily ever after. She was a natural when it came to caring for people. She adored her grandchildren and quickly became Gram to anyone who interacted with her. She could warm any heart with a quick hey baby. Betty found joy in family time, traveling (only by car though!), gardening, dancing, music, art, baking, and watching movies.
