Aldred Wallace “Augie” Davis, age 86 of Loudon, TN, formerly of Manchester, CT, loving husband for 62 years of Shirley (Speed) Davis, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016.
Augie was a 1948 graduate of Manchester High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict for which he received a Bronze Star and was a two time Purple Heart recipient. Following his time in the military, Mr. Davis retired after 38 years from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Company where he was an engineer.
