Alberta S. Cox (nee Snedeker), died Saturday, December 15th at Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro surrounded by her loving family. She was 86 years of age.

Born in Trenton, NJ on October 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Clara Snedeker.

A licensed practical nurse for many years, Alberta had been employed by the former Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital in Riverside and later with Comfort Care Hospice. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing canasta, getting into “trouble” with her sister-in-law, Thelma and the “late-night diner runs” with Thelma and George. A fan of the T.V. series, The Big Bang Theory, and The Food Network channel, she also had a weakness for coffee and sugar cookies.

In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her son Benjamin, her granddaughter, Karen Richardson, and her grandson, David Cox.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law; Betty (Charlie) Crist, her son and daughter-in-law; Robert (Shelley) Cox, her two brothers and sisters-in-law: William (Joy) Snedeker and Irving (Rhoda) Snedeker, her grandchildren and their spouses; Colleen (Kevin)Johnson, Andy (Bridgette)Toohey, Steven (Jodie)Cox, Bobby (Erica)Cox, Michelle (Ed)Kuszmaul, Melissa Clauges, Jennifer (Lotfi)Benzine, Amy (Terrence)Wilson, Julie and Raichel Crist. She also leaves 24 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Kiana, Kelli, Jackson, Christian, Katie, Trevor, Heather, Hayley, Everett, Curtis, Halie, Olivia, Grace, Isabella, Ashley, Adam, Zakaria, Yakoub, Sarah, Kinsey, Michael Vanessa and Evan as well as many nieces and nephews.
