Alberta Louise Mann Young, 70, a resident of Twin Falls and formerly of Jerome, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.

Alberta was born in Nampa, ID on Tuesday March 20, 1951 at 3:42 am to Albert and Thelma Young. Alberta was sister to Ray Young, Jean Young, (both half siblings), Larry Young, Jackie Young, and Wanda Young, all proceeding her in death.

Alberta was mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt to a multitude of individuals.

Alberta joins in heaven her eldest son Mitchell James Thacker and grandchildren Sierra, Megan, Patrick, and Bronwyn and is survived by her children and children’s spouses Kris, Robert, Amanda, Sasi, Don, Chris, Jack, Erin, Deidre and Micheal. Alberta was also survived by her grandchildren; Alfonso, Ethan, Kacheri, Galen, Jasmine, Justin, Kevin, Chance, Jonathon, Kaishon, Emilee, LaKota, Kayla, Conner (CJ), Selena, Skyler, Vinny, Iolana, Aries, Sadaris, and Jesse.

Alberta was defined by many things in her life, including her love for the mountains, her love for renovating and creating comfortable living spaces, murder mystery shows, cooking shows, and her loved ones, both blooded and bonded. Alberta lived her life with an earthly zeal, simple in her desires and complicated in her relationships, as any human is. Her strength, determination, and love for God helped her through a wide variety of obstacles in her life. However, some of her most memorable moments and sayings were that you do not judge someone unless you can walk in their shoes because you never will understand where they have been or what they went through to get to today, some of the best advice ever given still. She would also kiss each new child into this world with bright red lipstick and tell them they will make great fish bait. Well, 70 years ago God made her and told her she would make great fish bait and now he has called her home. Alberta effect and affect many people in her 70 years on this earth and will be greatly missed by those that loved her.
