DE VISSER, Alberta L. of Bangor, Michigan passed away Thursday afternoon, March 7, 2013.
Alberta was born October 12, 1925 in Portage, MI the daughter of John and Jennie Nuismer Drenth. She was a member of the Netherlands Reformed Congregation and worked for several years at the Eastwood D & C. Alberta loved spending time with her grandchildren and making photo books for them.
She also enjoyed sewing and camping. On January 26, 1945, she was united in marriage to John DeVisser who preceded her in death on Janaury 20, 2013. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children Walter Dorothy DeVisser, Marvin Cathy DeVisser, Gerald Jeanne DeVisser, Jo-An William VanSweden; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a brother, John Drenth; and many nieces and nephews.
