Alberta was born the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Smith) Janto on Wednesday, April 8, 1936, in Huron, NY. She graduated from Rome Free Academy in Rome, NY. Alberta worked at Garlock Corporation until they started a family then she stayed home and raised her children.
Alberta will be remembered by her children Robert (Kathy) Johnson, Deborah (William) Heinzlmeir; grandchildren Brandon (Halie Adams) Johnson, Lindsay (Joe) Maslar and Laura Heinzlmeir; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Maslar and Amelia Maslar; sisters Annabel Carlson and Margaret Pulver; several nieces and nephews.
Alberta was predeceased by her husband Glenn in July and five siblings.
