Albert Wayne Mitchell, 71, of Lewisburg, KY passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, at his residence.
Albert was born, on March 9, 1942, in Ewing, KY to the late Archie Lee Mitchell and Lucy Yazell Mitchell. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Mitchell, four brothers, James Mitchell, William (Bud) Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Roy Mitchell, and three sisters, Patsy Sweet, Lillian Hamilton, and Elsie Flora.
He was a lifelong farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Whisman Mitchell, two sons, Dale Mitchell and Darrin Mitchell both of Maysville, three daughters, Marsha (Richard) Mitchell and Teresa (Mitchell) Stamm of Flemingsburg, and Cathy (Eddie) Jacobs of Mt. Olivet, one brother, Paul Mitchell of Ewing, and one sister, Betty White of Louisville.
Mr. Mitchell also left behind several grandchildren, Laura Mitchell, Michelle Workman, Brian Mitchell, Halley Stamm, Jesse Stamm, Timmy Jacobs, Katie Jacobs, Jessica Jacobs, Jonathan Ware, Samantha Ware, Chrystle Olson, and Mitchell Olson. Great grandchildren are Matthew Hickerson, Jaye Workman, Joseph Workman, Ava Olson, and Lilly Jacobs.
