Command Sergeant Major E-9 Retired Albert Wayne Adair, age 69, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his home in Newnan surrounded by family. He was born July 31, 1946 in Booneville, Arkansas to the late Albert D. Adair and Naomi McAnally Adair. Albert retired from the military after 32 years of service. He spent his last years at Ft. Carson and was a veteran of Vietnam War, Desert Storm, Desert Shield and was in the ordinance. After his time in the service he then spent 13 years working in the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wilma Jones Adair and children, Shad Dale Adair and Albert Wayne Adair II. He is also survived by grandchildren, Joshua Shad Adair, Jourdan Adair, Austin Tyler Adair, Alayna M. Adair, Aydan Nichols and siblings, Alice Faye Porter, Shelia G. Adair and Carroll D. Adair.
