Albert Ramirez Garcia, 80, of Brighton, entered into eternal rest on the evening of February 23, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Albert was born March 16, 1932 in Trinidad, Colorado to Teodoro Garcia and Elsie Ramirez.
Albert enlisted in the United States Army in 1947. He was trained as a paratrooper and medic. He was honorably discharged in 1950.
A few years after serving his country he began a career as a truck driver. He drove professionally for over 40 years and was a member of Teamster Local 17 Union.
Albert is survived by his loving wife, Dolores of 34 years; daughters, Gail Garcia and Robin Sepulveda; Stepfather of Georgette, Annette, James, and Martin Abeyta. Also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends. He is a grandfather of five; great-grandfather of ten; Step-grandfather of ten; Step-great grandfather of 14; Step-great- great grandfather of one; one sister and three brothers.
