Albert John Mance, 85, of Oglesby, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at his home. Mr. Mance was born on January 3, 1937, in Chicago to John and Isabel (Petroski) Mance.
He married Vallerie Nielsen on April 24, 1976, in Joliet. Mr. Mance was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as an independent insurance agent for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling, and was a Chicago White Sox fan.
Survivors include his wife, Vallerie; two sons, Douglas (Renee) Mance of Geneseo and Greg (Heather) Mance of Crystal Lake and four grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe, Audrey, and Griffin. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Michael Mance.
