Albert G. Underwood, 90, of Platteville, passed away March 19, 2013 in Thornton. He was born February 20, 1923 to Ansel Underwood and Otilia Muller in the Ancon Canal Zone in what is now known as the Panama Canal Zone. He attended high school in Denver. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, he felt obligated to join the US Navy. He served on the USS Enterprise from 1942-1946. He later married Marilyn Barrow in 1952 in Denver.

Albert worked in construction for the majority of his life and most recently drove a forklift for IBM delivering parts. This was a job he absolutely loved! In his free time, he loved to travel. Taking road trips was his favorite thing to do. He also loved fishing and boating. His most important daily task was reading his Bible.

Family was always a high priority for Albert.
