Albert E. Rosevear, Sr., 88, of Newington, the loving husband of the late Lorraine (Ferris) Rosevear for 64 years, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Jefferson House in Newington. Born in Waterbury, son of the late William and Hilda (Dawe) Rosevear, he was a longtime resident of Wethersfield moving to Newington very recently. Albert worked as a Glazier with the Glaziers Local Union 1333. He was a member of the Church of Christ Congregational in Newington, a member of the Griswoldville Ecclesiastical Society in Wethersfield and was very involved with Boy Scout Troop 50 of Wethersfield for over 40 years. Albert and his wife Lorraine were avid campers, traveling throughout much of the United States and Canada. They belonged to the New England Volkswagen Camper’s Club and the Traveleer’s. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, he will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. Albert leaves his son Albert E. “Bud” Rosevear, Jr., and his wife Joanne of Ithaca, NY, his granddaughter Elizabeth Rosevear, his brother-in-law Harry Ferris and many nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to his beloved wife Lorraine, he was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law William and Doris Rosevear, Jr., his brother Francis Rosevear, and his brother-in-law and sister-in- law Earl and Barbara Ferris.
