Albert E. “Butch” Wolfe, Sr., 74, of Bowling Green and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away May 14, 2021 at his residence.
The Indianapolis native was born August 18, 1946 to the late William Robert Wolfe, Jr. and Ester Alice Noe Wolfe. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Wolfe; granddaughter, Ayreana Mooneyhan; siblings, William Wolfe, III, Sidney Wolfe, and Sue Gosnell; and sister-in-law, Karen Wolfe. Butch served in the United States Army in Vietnam as a tank mechanic. He was also employed as a diesel mechanic by E.H. Hamilton Trucking. Butch raised a large family, including six children and 20 grandchildren. He was a simple man who loved working, providing for his family, and was contented spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children, Tina Marsh (Dan) of Indianapolis, John Wolfe of Paducah, Larry Wolfe of Bowling Green, Albert Wolfe, Jr. (Alisha) of Velpen, Indiana, Elizabeth Wolfe of Bowling Green, and Karen Mooneyhan (Sherman) of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Julia, Samantha, Nina, Johnna, Dayla, Kindra, Chance, Ethan, Gage, Wyatt, Jazlyn, Austyn, Tatum, Davis, Autumn, Summer, Kelci, Maleigha, and Millee; future great-grandchild, Allison Raeanna to be born Thursday; and siblings, Esther, Leroy, Earl, John, and Cecil.
