Alan R. Charette, 55, passed away suddenly on September 27, 2009 in Las Vegas.
Alan was born on June 3, 1954 in Southington, CT a son of Joseph Charette and the late Rena (Dubois) Charette.
Alan graduated from Bristol Eastern High School in 1972 then joined the United States Marine Corps. He then went on to receive his AS from Boston University and then joined the United States Army.
He recently retired from Arcata Associates in Las Vegas where he was an electronics engineer. He was also a small aircraft pilot.
In addition to his father of Bristol he is survived by his wife, Alla of Ukraine; his daughter and son-in-law Tara and Craig Sikora of Haddam, CT; his grandchild Liam; his sister Kori Charette and her partner Jack Favale of Prospect CT; his brothers Douglas Charette, Steven and his wife Linda Charette, all of Bristol, Wayne and his wife Karen of Forestville and Richard Charette of Las Vegas; his nephew David Charette and nieces Nicole Charette and Aimee Defosses.
He was predeceased by his niece Dayna.
