Alan “Hank” Hanshaw was born in New Hampshire on Nov. 20, 1927. In his words a country boy. He joined the Navy Seebee’s then the newly formed Army Air Corp serving in World War II and Korea, retiring from the United States Air Force, always proud of his country.
The spirit and character God gave him made him one of a kind. Just the way he liked it. He is my father, my captain, my role model, the best man at my wedding and friend. I loved this man.
He is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that will love him forever.
