New Carlisle – Alan J. Holleman, 66, of New Carlisle, IN, passed away on Saturday November 30, 2013 in Millers Merry Manor, New Carlisle. He was born on January 3, 1947, in Holland, MI, to the late Gordon and Beatrice Holleman. On March 10, 1966, he married Dana Kleis, who preceded him in death on November 16, 2011. Alan is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Ken) Ganser of Granger, IN and Amie Nelson of New Carlisle; his son, Scott (Leah) Holleman of Buchanan, MI; and by six grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Macy, Kaya, Josh and Zackary. Mr. Holleman retired in 2009 from R & L trucking, where he worked for 6 years.
