He was born on January 19, 1986 in Alpena, Michigan. Alan spent his first 10 years in Alpena and then graduated high school in Mt. Morris, Michigan. He was a Rainbow Warrior who loved chasing rainbows with friends. Alan was also an avid musician and enjoyed attending music festivals all over the world. He had a loving spirit and he died as a gentleman. Alan is survived by his mother, Nancy Marcet of Hubbard Lake; his brother, James Marcet of Bay City; his grandparents, Marco & Sophie Marcet of Frankenmuth and Jean Philips of Alabama; and his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Alan was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Marcet; his grandfathers, Clare Butterfield and Chuck Philips; and an uncle, Mark Marcet. On Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the St. Hyacinth Parish Center, 2305 S. Monroe St., Bay City , MI 48708, Alan’s family will greet friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
