Daughter of Gustaf Carlson and Anna Johansson Carlson, born in Boston on August 25, 1918 and moved to Stoughton in 1920. She was married for 59 years to the late Earl Bud McMann, and sister of the late Gustaf Eric Carlson and sister-in-law to the late Virginia Carlson.
She is survived by daughter Jean Inman of Avon, and son Earl McMann and wife Kirstin, of Norton, grandchildren Shawn McMann, Ross McMann and wife Amida, great-grandchildren Talyah and Ne’eman McMann, all of Florida.
Aina was a graduate of Stoughton High School and Bryant and Stratton Business school in Boston. She was employed as a stenographer for New England Freight Railroad, as a secretary for the Stoughton Public Library and in the administration office and teacher’s aide at the O’Donnell Middle School.
Her many community activities included Cub Scout Den Mother, Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, Town Meeting Representative, President and Chairman of the Board of the Stoughton Historical Society, and Secretary to the Stoughton Fourth of July Committee.
