Mrs. Aileen M. Cotney, 87, a resident of Alexander City, Al and a former resident of Valley, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Chapman Health Care in Alexander City.
Survivors include her children, Helen Roberts (Gordon), Janice Cotton (Danny), Tommy, Billy, & Tony Cotney; sisters, Ethel C. Akins & Mae McCard; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Mrs. Cotney was born in Randolph County, AL and retired from the Swift Spin Mill in Columbus, GA. She was a member of Kellyton Baptist Church, which she loved as well as singing.
