Agnes “Pat” Garvin of Fortville died June 4, 2009 in Greenfield. She was born Nov. 7, 1912 in Clarksburg, WV to the late George V. and Mary (Boyle) Gray. She attended American University & Business College. She had been employed at Home Owners Loan Corp. in Wheeling, WV, the Bituminous Coal Commission, and the Chief Clerks Office of the U.S. Treasury in Washington D.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Garvin on Jan. 27, 2004 and by brother, James V. Gray. She is survived by daughters, Patricia V. Garvin of Fortville and Garen Ann (Ralph) Waters of NC; granddaughters, Megan (Chris) Hammer of GA and Marlo Olivas of NC; and great-grandchildren Madison and Aiden Mullis.
