AGNES ELIZABETH BENSON Owosso, MichiganAgnes Elizabeth (Korting) Benson age 71 of Owosso, Michigan passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Agnes was born on December 1, 1948 in Saginaw, the daughter of Theodore and Theresa Korting, and they preceded her in death. On November 5, 1966 Agnes was united in marriage to Larry Lee Benson and he preceded her in death on September 9, 2004. She is survived by her children: Michelle Leeck and fiance Mike Iski, Larry Benson and Toni Smith, eight grandchildren: Patrick and Jonathan Morrison, Maci Leeck, Alyson and Nicole Benson, Andrew and Alex Smith, Braiden Benson along with a great-grandson Kayden Morrison, siblings and their spouses: Albert and Patricia Korting, Ruth and Bernie Hartman, Larry and Barb Korting, Martha and Dennis O’Connor and Mary Lou Korting and lots of nieces and nephews. Along with her husband Larry and her parents she was preceded in death by siblings William Korting, Theodore Korting, Sandy Matteson and Nancy Pufahl. Agnes was an avid reader and loved to find books at thrift stores. She loved her family very much and would do anything for them. She loved watching singing, talent tv shows, and shows about life in Alaska. The last few years she enjoyed feeding and caring for the homeless cats at her apartment in Owosso.
