Agnes E. Costello was 89 when she passed away Friday, December 13th. Born in Brooklyn, she was a resident of New Milford since 1957. Agnes married Joseph Costello and went on to work for the Defense Department during World War II while her husband was oversees fighting for his country in Europe. A member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Milford Fire Department and active with the Board of Elections, Agnes was a homemaker to her husband and four children.
She is predeceased by her husband the late Joseph Costello and a son the late Joseph Richard Costello, Jr. Agnes is survived by her daughter Maureen Schwabik and husband Ken, daughter Kathleen Graham, and daughter Patricia Lorraine Rasmussen and husband Rich. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
