Mrs. Agnes Coddington, age 89 of Trumbull formerly of Milford, beloved wife of the late John J. (Jack) Coddington, passed away on Sunday February 1, 2009 St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.
Daughter of the late Henry and Annie Hodgson Abbott, she was born on February 2, 1919 in Throop, Pa. Agnes enjoyed crocheting, reading and liquid embroidery.
Survivors include two sons John M. (Jack) Coddington and his wife Jean of Seymour and Brian N. Coddington and his wife Heidi of Oxford, four daughters Sharon L. German and her husband Donald and Nancy L. Kelly-DeLeo and her husband Craig all of Milford, Shirley F. Bonazzo and her husband James of Trumbull and Barbara Ann Gowisnock and her husband Stanley of Bethany, a daughter-in-law Beverly Coddington-Kwiatkowski of Florida. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a brother Fred, three sisters Henrietta, Shirley, and Carol and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her son Ronald G. Coddington, her granddaughter Lisa, her brother Matthew, and her sister Anna.
