Adrien Cyr, age 93, passed peacefully on Sunday, January 24th surrounded by his children. Adrien was born in Fall River, MA where he graduated from Durfee High School and enlisted in the Army. He served for 5 years, including in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, and was honorably discharged in November of 1945.
Adrien began his career as a silversmith for Reed and Barton, working in the final polishing department.

He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Helene, on June 22, 2009, his 12 brothers and sisters and parents Alice and Joseph Cyr. He is survived by five children: Gerard (Mary Ann) of Norwell, MA; Maurice (Marilyn) of Rutland, VT; Arthur of Southington, CT; Roland (Debra) of Unionville, CT and Louise (George) Porto of Watertown, CT and 6 grandchildren.
