Adelaide C. Corcoran, 94, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Saturday, June 3, 2017. She was born December 7, 1922 in Newington, CT to the late Michael Joseph Koczera and Theresa Roman Koczera. She was one of ten children raised in Newington, CT. A graduate of Newington High School, Adelaide went on to graduate from the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing in 1947. She worked at Hartford Hospital where she met Raymond W. Corcoran, and they married in 1954. They then settled in Mansfield, CT where she raised her two daughters and returned to work at Windham Hospital.
