Ada Tessitore Taylor “Mima”, “Mims”, “Mimsy” , 97, passed away peacefully in her “nest” on May 3, 2013. Mims was a lover of family, a woman of faith, a painter of beautiful artwork. She baked an amazing strawberry rhubarb pie in her heyday and had a song for every occasion and situation. She will be missed by all those to whom she leaves her beautiful and unique legacy: Her daughter and son-in-law, who were her forever “housemates” and were with her right until the end, Jan and Chris Lippitt; her much, much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kerri Sipala and her fiancé, Art Abronzino, and children, Jason, Richard, Lea, and Evan; CJ (Chris) Lippitt Jr. and his wife, Jolene, and children Gavin and Kade; Erin Wininger and her husband, Pete, and children Sean and Patrick; Courtney Ryfun and her husband, Mike, and children Jaiden, Emily, and Caitlynn; and Jim O’Brien IV and his wife, Rachel, and children Kylie and Jimmy V; her loving and loved nieces and nephews, Joanie, Gigi, Steve, Greg, Paul, and Chris, and her amazing and devoted caregiver, Masha, as well as the many family friends who shared time and a party or two with her over the years. Her family is grateful to the caring and dedicated staff of Masonicare Hospice. Mims was predeceased by her dear sisters, Tecla and Vera.
