She was born on February 16, 1917 in Powers burg, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Alexandria. Ada is survived by her son, Rev. Paul Tina Smith of Anderson, IN, sons-in-law, Harold White and George Hawes, daughters-in-law, Kay Fleener and Connie Smith all of Anderson. sister Sylvia Deaton of Cincinnati; grandchildren, George Kelly Hawes of Logansport, and Charlotte Elaine Clay, David Andrew Smith, Daniel Roy Smith, Paul Derek Smith, Keith Henderson Smith, Tammy Michelle Smith, William Kevin Hawes, Michael Wade Fleener and Angela Jean Abel all of Anderson; David Reedy, Debbie Russell and Richard Rosenau Jr., all of Washington state; Brenda Kiser of Tallahassee, FL, Tanya Coleman of Ft.
