Abram “Abie” Parra, of Pajarito, New Mexico, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the age of 57.

Abie worked and served at the Joy Junction homeless shelter as a Transportation Manager. At his work and in his community, he left a huge impression on those he met. He positively impacted so many lives daily, and did it in such an admirable way. The kindness, generosity and consideration he exuded so effortlessly will always be a testament to his true character. He was always warm and treated everyone like a lifelong friend. His life was rich, as he found so much joy in his family, work and devotion to others. Selflessly making others needs his priority. Being a lifeline to all his true super power!

Abie was a loving attentive brother, adoring uncle, supportive coach, right hand man and loyal friend to all. A simple humble man who asked for nothing, while always giving everything in return. Like a true Leo he was fierce and protective of those he loved. He wore his infectious smile like a crown. That smile, now a comforting memory to hold in our hearts until we meet again.

“In life we loved you dearly In death we love you still”.
