Abigail Lyman Sweeny of Wakefield, VA passed away with her family by her side at the young age of 30 on January 14, 2024 at Bon Secours- Southside Medical Center.Abigail’s life is impossible to sum up in one paragraph, nor a book. She has lived many times over in her time on this Earth. Abigail was a Friend, Wife, Daughter, Granddaughter, and, ultimately, a Mother. She was with the love of her life Christopher for 14 years. In which this union gave to them, a son named Nicholai Francis.Abigail was an Intelligent, Headstrong, Sweet, Beautiful, and Compassionate woman. Abby had many loves…the outdoors, traveling, culture, family friends, and most of all her son Nicholai. She will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family.Left to cherish her memory is her husband Christopher Todd Sweeny II; son, Nicholai F. Sweeny; mother, Jennifer L. Washburn; father, John Francis Lyman; brothers, Jaden and Finnian Lyman; grandparents, Betty “MeMe” Tharpe (Harold), Anna Lyman and extended family.
