Zygmunt Lacic, 70, of Newington died on Wednesday, (March 27, 2013) at the U-Conn Medical Center, Farmington. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Swietek) Lacic for 44 years. Born in Poland, he lived in Newington for the last 35 years. Zygmunt worked at Caval Tool, Newington for over 30 years and attended St. Mary’s Church and Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church. He also leaves his son and daughter-in-law Mark Lacic and Nicole of Bristol, two daughters Dorothy Lacic of Middletown and Theresa Lacic of Newington, two grandchildren Ethan and Madison, two brothers Wladyslaw Lacic of Newington, Jozef Lacic of Vernon, four sisters Maria Lichacz of Hartford, Janina Wechta, Franciszka Gula and Anna Sambor all in Poland and several nieces and nephews.
