Zygmunt Jan Kiszczak, 63, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home. Born in Poland, son of Celina (Halas) Kiszczak of Poland and the late Zdzislaw Kiszczak, he was a resident of New Britain for over 30 years and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. Zygmunt was a skilled welder and car mechanic; an artisan of his craft who took pride in his work and loved to help others. He was a gregarious individual, who loved the company of others. He was a boating enthusiast who loved to spend time with his family and friends at the lake. A loving, selfless father, he leaves his two children, Agnieszka Del Corro and her husband Pablo of Wilmington, MA, and Przemyslaw Kiszczak of West Hartford, and one grandson on the way. He also leaves his two sisters, Zdzislawa Pohl and her husband Marek and Teresa Bochenska and her husband Zdzislaw, several nieces and nephews, all in Poland, and the mother of his children and friend, Anna Kiszczak of Farmington.
