Zita Tabatha Robinson was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., raised in Fulton, and was a resident of Grove Hill. She was born Jan. 15, 1970 to the late Melissa Mc Rae and the late Bobby Welch. Zita made her transition from this life to eternal life on Friday, Nov. 25, 2022.
She attended Fulton Elementary School, later transferring to Wilson Hall; she graduated with honors at Clarke County High School. Zita later continued her education by attending college.
Zita is known as “Ma Chic” to many and loved by all. She loved to advance the community. A faithful member of Orange Hill Missionary Baptist Church, she was also a care watch member of Morning Star Baptist Church. She enjoyed babysitting, tutoring, and caring for others.
Preceding her in death were her parents and grandmothers, Annie Ruth Mc Rae and Arlie Noid.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 17 years, Bruce Robinson; six children, Keith Welch, Alan Presnall, Zacchoeus Presnall, Tabatha Robinson, Zykeria Hill and Tykeria Hill; six grandchildren; two sisters, Lizzetta Mc Connell and Tanya Mc Rae; with a host of other relatives and friends, with special friend, Tiffany Jackson. She was a loved and dedicated classmate of Clarke County High School Class of 1988.
