Zelma Veronica Hayden Parrish was born near Loire, Texas on March 26, 1913, the second of nine children. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was an excellent seamstress, avid gardener and made beautiful quilts and hand sewn toy dolls and animals. She lived in Boerne since 1986 with her husband of 66 years Clarence Parrish. She is predeceased by her husband Clarence Parrish, her daughter Joanne Parrish (formerly Joanne Hill) and her sisters Evelyn Archer, Ann Richmond, Joyce Amacker, and brothers Gil, Marvin, Monroe, Raymond and Basil. She is survived by her daughter Lila Parrish of Austin, Texas and her grandsons Graham Hill of Washington, D.C. and Greg Hill of Austin, Texas. She will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and relatives as well as her family.
