Zelma LeRoy, 97, of Ottawa died March 19, 2014 at the JSB Retirement Villa in Ottawa.
Zelma was born on January 2, 1917 in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, to Clarence and Elizabeth (Thompson) Reichenbach. She married Albert Leo LeRoy, on July 28, 1938, in Neosho, Missouri. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Ottawa.
She is survived by nieces and nephews: Myron and Ronald Bagby, Carolyn Conners, and Judy (Bill) O’Connell, of Ottawa, and caregivers: Jonathan Zenke, Lavonda and Paige Scott, and Savannah Brousse. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 20, 2003, and her brother, Ray Reichenbach. Pallbearers will be Bill, Brian, and Matthew O’Connell, Jonathan Zenke, Gary Armstrong, and Mike Thrush.
