Zada Phipps Hooten, daughter of Ernest McDonald and Zada Burdine Phipps, passed away the morning of September 21, 2021, after battling Frontotemporal Dementia for the past three years. Zada was born in Ft. Lauderdale on January 23, 1949; she was 72. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, David M. Hooten, who resides in Newnan, GA and their two daughters Danielle Phipps Artabasy and Joanna Noelle Hooten. Danielle is married to Chris Artabasy and they have two children: Kellen and Lilla. They reside in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. Joanna is married to Steven Clausnitzer and they have three children: Eve, Atticus, and Mila. They reside in Chapel Hill, NC. We will miss our lively, vivacious, humorous, and artistic Zada. She was a woman of strong Christian faith and a very giving person with a wonderful heart. She was a good woman. Until we meet again lovely Zada!
