Zachary (Zach) Tyler Lydard’s angel wings were sculpted on April 8th, 2023. He passed peacefully in his sleep.

Son of Shayne and Susan Lydard and brother to Justin Lydard, Zachary was born on May 31st 1996. He is survived by his parents and brother. Zachary is also survived by his grandmother Linda Fowler, his aunt Misty Fithian, aunt Barbara Shoe, uncles David, Melvin, Ronald, and Donald Parks, his sister-in-law Megan Lydard and many great aunts & uncles, and cousins. He joins his other grandmother Shelby Jean Parks, his Pop Pop, John Fowler, and friend Braden Kangas in the Eternal Garden of Peace.

Zachary started his life in Glen Burnie, MD and moved to San Angelo, TX, when his father was stationed there in the Air Force. Zach played Little League baseball, football, and bowled. He and his brother would make wrestling videos with their dad. They took trips all over Texas.

Zachary moved back to Pasadena, MD when his father retired from the military and graduated from Old Mill HS in 2014.

Zach loved DJ’ing, he was especially fond of techno music and other types of music that “spoke” to him. He loved watching horror movies and wrestling, especially with his brother and cousin Terrance. Together they were known as the “The Three Best Cousins”. They along with Megan, and Terrance’s wife Peyton, would hold prediction match-ups for a championship belt. Zach has “retired” as the champion!
Zach loved Christmas. He would always be the first one up, checking out the presents, ready to open them. Zach also loved creating things such as sculptures and music. He loved his games days, and his brother days, playing video games, collecting action figures, and even though he would never admit it, he loved being pestered by his mother all the time.

Zach was loved by anyone who met him and got to know him. He would want to point out all his friends; however, that would take up too much space, so we would like to mention a few that he loved: Jordan, Emma, Ian, Annabelle, and Felder. There are so many more but we cannot name everyone. He would probably want to give a special shout-out to his besties at the school, Nick and Cee Cee. He would also want to give a shout out to his Aunt Barbara, whom was affectionately known as “His Therapist”.

Like most people, Zach struggled with things at times, but always found the light. His smile was infectious.

Zach loved life, he loved his family, he loved the direction he was heading at school, and was looking forward to the what the future had in store for him. The family would like to send out a special thank you to Emergency personnel who responded, and to all those who have reached out to them.
