Zachary Lee Chandler, 17, Anderson, died May 20, 2003 at Methodist Hosptial-Indianapolis due to injuries from an automobile accident on Saturday, May 17, 2003. He was born June 7, 1985 in Anderson, Indiana, and lived in this area all of his life. He worked part-time at Newports Outlet Store in Anderson while attending school. He was a 2003 graduate of C.A.R.E. Christian Academy of Religious Education. He also attended Ivy Tech State College. He was an honor society student, varsity basketball player and winner of numerous speaking, computer and art awards. He served his entire Jr. & Sr. High school years on the student council in many leadership positions.. He was a member of Calvary Temple Apostolic Worship Center in Anderson. He was a member of the Boy Scout Troop #234 and was also a member of the Order of the Arrow. He played the bass guitar at his church’s praise and worship services and was very active in the youth group. He is survived by his Father: Robert E. Chandler. Mother: Billie Lou Schmidt Chandler. Two Sisters: Katina Arnold of Anderson. Desirae Arnold of Anderson. One Brother: Nathanial Wallace of Corpus Christi, Texas. Fiancee: Jocelyn Gill of Elwood. Two Aunts: Belinda Fleenor of Anderson. Bonnie & husband John Wilson of New Jersey. Grandma: Dorothy Patrick of Anderson. Cousins: Ross Morelock, Brandon Morelock, Kathryn Fleenor, Samantha Steves, Jon Tedesco, Julianna Tedesco and Jenifer Tedesco of New Jersey. Special Family Members: Betina Lynn Chandler. Earl Robert & wife Jennifer Wallace. Several Aunts, Uncles and Special Friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Herman Wallace.
