Zachary Cole Brunes September 28, 1988-May 27, 2017
Zack was Born in Brainerd, MN, and raised in Jenkins, MN. In 2001, he and his family moved to Idaho, where he has resided ever since. He was living in Deary and died from injuries suffered in an auto accident on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Zack was a gentle and free spirit. He loved the Lord, his family and friends with a deep committed love. He would do whatever he could to help anyone, and he loved people. From a young age Zack began to experience the loss of his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, James and Alli Brunes; grandfather, Richard Bressem; grandfather, Bruce Brunes; cousin, Jeremy Brunes, and great uncle, Gary Bressem. He also experienced the loss of many of his close friends who he loved. Like his beloved savior Jesus, Zack was acquainted with sorrow and grief. He didn’t show the pain often and tried to enjoy his time with family and friends to the fullest. He was cheerful and very forgiving. His favorite place to be was the family cabin in Fernwood, ID. He loved to camp, fish and hunt. He also was a very talented guitar player. His family and friends were blessed greatly when he played for them. Zack is survived by his Grandmother, Barb Brunes; grandmother, Edna Bressem; father, Randall Brunes; mother, Cindy Gustafson; sister, Whitney Brunes; brother, James Young; brother by unofficial adoption and best friend; Derik Neely, and son, Townes Cole Haynes, who he loved dearly. He is also survived by his stepfather, Steve Gustafson; stepmother, Theresa Brunes; and many step siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Zack has left a deep impression on all of our hearts, and he will be missed so very much by all of us.
