Bobbie and Mamie Lee Richardson played a vital role in his early childhood years until he moved to Baltimore, Maryland as a young man with his best friend Charles Powell.
He received his education from Rocky Mount educational system.
He was employed as a furniture finisher at Levinson & Klein furniture store in Baltimore, Maryland until he retired after 50 years of service.
He met and married the love of his life Viola Patterson on July 23, 1955. Out of this union four children were born. Together they lived a loving life and led by example.
“Buddy” as he was affectionately known was a very kind and generous man who was loved by all. He lived his life to serve others before himself.
