Mrs. Yvonne Louise Graves Siler was born on March 25, 1942 in Washington, DC to the late William and Louise Graves.
On Friday, April 20, 2018, surrounded by her husband and son, the Lord called Yvonne from labor to reward. It was an appointment she couldn’t miss.
Yvonne was educated in the public school systems of Chatham County, North Carolina.
Yvonne was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Yvonne was a member of Lambert Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and served on the Deaconess Board, Missionary Department, and the Kitchen Committee.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband Jazz W. Siler; two children, Veronica “Suzette” Siler, Siler City, NC and Norman V. Siler, Sr. (Tonja) Washington, DC; five grandchildren, Marquita “Danelle” Tyler (Chad), Kimberly Burris, Patrice Humphries, Tanika Siler and Norman V. Siler, Jr.; five great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Jaylen, Nevaeh, Ahmir, and Alisha; one brother, Shelley “Monroe” Graves (Janice) of Upper Marlboro, MD; two sisters, Burnestine Hackett of Clinton, MD and Helen Johnson (Howard) of Upper Marlboro, MD; two uncles, Alfred Graves, Sr. and Enos Graves (Joyce); sisters-inlaw, Mary Lois Eubank (Roy), Margie Millikan (Sam) and Mary Lane Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
