Yvonne (Bonnie) Clark Faulkner

Bonnie, 78, of Roy, Utah, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from colon and liver cancer. She was born on June 28, 1937, in Vernal, Utah to George and Mildred McCarrell Clark. She grew up in Vernal until Junior High School and then moved to Ogden, Utah, graduating from Ben Lomond High School. She married Denny Faulkner on April 13, 1956.
She began her career in Weber County School District as a school cook, and continued that work for 28 years. Many people would lovingly recognize her as their “Lunch Lady”, this meant the world to her. She retired from Roy High in 1997.
Bonnie enjoyed ceramics, volunteering at Chancellor’s Retirement Home and the Greek Orthodox Church. Her favorite things to do were cooking for her family and following the Utah Jazz.
She is survived by her husband, Denny Faulkner, her two children, Mark Faulkner (Nancy), Jann Kogianes (George), 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, with 2 precious angels on their way.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Clark, and son, Gary Faulkner.
