HAVERHILL – Yvonne Alma (Gauron) DeSimone, passed away on March 17, 2017. She was born February 14, 1939 in Haverhill, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (LaChance) Gauron.
She graduated from St. James High School and Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill. She was the cherished wife of the late Donald A. DeSimone.
Yvonne worked for Microfab, Inc. for 20 years and the Essex County Gas Company for 10 years, both in Amesbury where she and Donald raised their family for 38 years before retiring to Boothbay Harbor, ME. They resided in Boothbay Harbor for six years before re-retiring to North Fort Myers, FL where they lived for 3 years. Upon the loss of her husband in 2007, Yvonne moved to Texas with her daughter. She fit in quite well in Texas.
