Yvette Hathaway, age 94, of Orange, beloved wife of the late Robert K. Hathaway, died on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Milford Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born on July 12, 1915, in Montreal, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Elwood Patterson and Aurora Martel Patterson Warner. Yvette came to America at the age of two and lived in the Hill section of New Haven. She attended St. Peter’s School, Hillhouse H.S. and New Haven Normal School.
Survivors include a son Neil W. Hathaway and his wife Wendy of Orange. Daughter Marcia H. Addil and her husband Rodger of Beacon Falls. Three grandchildren; Robert N. and Corey L. Hathaway of Orange and Amy N. Addil of Beacon Falls. She was predeceased by her step-father J. LeRoy Warner.
